The AGC of Missouri is accepting proposals for sessions for its 2nd Annual Heavy Highway & Infrastructure (HH&I) Technology Virtual Conference which will be held online with support from GeoLearn via Zoom Webinar from Tuesday, January 26, 2021 thru Thursday, January 28, 2021 with a total of 6 sessions. Schedule of sessions is below. All presentations will be live (not pre-recorded).

Professional virtual presentation consulting (from Geo-Learn) will be available to selected presenters, as well as remote support for their presentations, and a recording will be made available to selected presenters after the event.

Each session runs for an hour and should include 30-45 minutes of presentation followed by 15-30 minutes of Q&A.

Tuesday, January 26, 2021:

9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Opening Session 1 with Q&A

10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Session 2 with Q&A

Wednesday, January 27, 2021:

9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Session 3 with Q&A

1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Session 4 with Q&A

Thursday, January 28, 2021:

9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Session 5 with Q&A

1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Session 6 with Q&A


The HH&I Technology Conference audience includes construction consumers, engineers, construction managers, general contractors, specialty contractors, and service providers with positions represented ranging from daily operations personnel through senior executives who specialize in or work intensively with technology in the heavy highway and infrastructure market. Information Technology professionals from support technician through CIO will benefit from these educational and networking opportunities, as well. College students in construction-related programs of study are also in attendance.

Proposal topics and areas of focus

All proposals should focus on current and emerging technology issues related to the construction of heavy highway and infrastructure, or the IT services supporting this sector of the construction industry. Successful proposals will be exclusively educational in nature, 30-45 minutes in length with the remainder of the hour for Q&A.

Each session presenter(s) will have an assigned technician and a session moderator to help prepare them to present remotely and have a run-thru prior to the conference. This includes lighting and AV support. The assigned moderator will run the conference platform in the background, monitor the chat, and conduct polling (if the presenter(s) choose to utilize that feature) during their presentation. Recordings of the presentations will be posted for attendees to view for a limited time after the conference and presenters will be given a video file copy of their presentations for their own use after the conference.

Self-reported professional credentialing forms for professional development units/continuing education units will be provided for applicable sessions, as well.
