2018 BIMForum: Las Vegas

September 24-26 2018 | Las Vegas, NV

BIMForum is now accepting proposals for a limited number of speaking opportunities for plenary and breakout sessions at the 2018 BIMForum, September 24-26, 2018 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At the 2018 BIMForum, we will explore case studies in which Architects, Engineers, Builders and Owners are seeking to improve industry performance, through the adoption of standards and best practices, and integration of technology and process. We encourage proposals to thoughtfully consider how project stakeholders have addressed any of the following content areas in a compelling, innovative way:

  • Lean
  • Project Delivery
  • Productivity
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control
  • Contracts
  • Trade Coordination
  • Workforce
  • Research
  • Metrics
  • Advances in Technology
  • LOD

Submission Deadline: Friday March 23rd, 2018 at 11:59pm EST

An important goal of the BIMForum is to provide high-quality educational sessions for AECO executives and professionals. Our two-and-a-half day, multiple-track format is focused on topics that reflect current and emerging issues in the industry. Special consideration will be given to presentations that feature project-based case studies that illustrate best practices, lessons learned, and unique opportunities or challenges throughout the industry.

*Presenters should consider including an Owner as part of the presenter team (or including a statement from the Owner, if he/she is unavailable to present) if it would help to validate the best practices and quantifiable outcomes being achieved.

*Vendor proposals which include an Architect, Engineer, Contractor, Owner, etc. will be scored higher during the selection process. “Sales pitch”-style presentations for products and services should be avoided.
