Call for Presentations: 2026 Virtual Fall Conference
NASW-NC and NASW-SC
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) North Carolina and South Carolina Chapters invite you to submit a proposal to present at our Virtual Fall Conference!!!
About The Conference
The Fall Conference is an annual event that brings together social workers from across the profession. From the social work student to the experienced clinician, the conference offers learning opportunities relevant to a wide range of roles and practice settings. The conference is virtual and will be held on November 16-17, 2026.
NASW-SC & NASW-NC are requesting relevant and timely presentations for a social work audience of up to 1,000 attendees virtually. We are seeking proposals for 1.5 hour sessions. ALL topics and submissions are welcome and will be considered.
Who Can Present?
Our presenters play a vital role in the conference, sharing information and expertise across a wide variety of topics. NASW members and non-members are invited to submit a presentation. Presenters can submit for 1.5-hour sessions. Keynote submissions considerations are for 2 hours. Please note that there is a limit of 2 proposal submissions per presenter. As our conferences are fully virtual, speakers should be comfortable with presenting in a virtual format. Since the event will be held via Zoom Webinar, speakers should understand that their workshop will be "lecture style" and their session will not have the option for participants to turn on their cameras or be in breakout rooms. Engagement occurs with participants via chat, Q&A, and polling questions if desired.
Why Should You Present?
- Presenters can share their expertise with a large number of social work professionals in North Carolina, South Carolina, and beyond. Our Fall Conference usually hosts up to 1,000 registrants!
- Presenters have promotion of their name and credentials in our conference brochure, which is listed on the website and sent in emails marketing the conference, as well as some social media spotlights of sessions.
- Presenters gain free attendance to the conference as well as an honorarium.
- Since the conference is virtual, presenters can provide quality education from wherever they are located!
What About Presentation Topics?
All topics are welcome and will be considered!
The deadline to submit a presentation is July 31, 2026. After the deadline, submissions will then be reviewed by the Continuing Education Committee, and selections will be made and speakers notified by the end of August.
