2026 Call For Submissions

TUgis Conference

The deadline to submit a proposal is April 20, 2026. 
 
TUgis offers practitioners and technologists multiple ways to present their work to large audiences eager to participate. Presentations are accepted in the following categories: 

Posters / Maps are large-format paper printouts of a map or presentation. Presentations should share original research, program or policy innovations or evidence-informed practices. Session is 60 minutes. Maximum two presenters.  

Presentations are 20-minute illustrated talks followed by 5 minutes of audience questions and discussions.

Lightning Talks are 7-minute presentations in a fast-moving, exciting format. Each presentation can include a static poster, live demo, or utilize technology. Internet access and presentation technology will be provided. 

Panels or Working Groups are organized discussions including a group of panelists with diverse viewpoints and perspectives with time for participant questions and reactions. 45 minutes. Maximum five panelists (facilitator included).

Sponsored Presentations are featured in the exhibitor showcase. These 25-minute sessions can include product demos, sales pitches, or technical training.


NOTE: All presentations, lightning talks, and panels will take place in smart rooms equipped with Microsoft Windows, MS Office, Internet access, LCD Projector with a minimum of 1024×768 resolution, and 16x9 screens.
