The Education Support Professionals Committee of the Massachusetts Teachers Association requests proposals for the 2025 ESP Conference. The ESP Conference will convene on April 10 and 11, 2026, in Hyannis, MA.
This conference serves our ESP members who fulfill a variety of important functions in our schools, colleges and universities, including in clerical service, custodial and maintenance services, food service, health and student services, security, skilled trades, technical service, and as paraeducators.
The Committee is seeking proposals for two-hour workshops.
This year's conference title is ESPs United for All Voices.
This year's theme is Public Education is our Right, Defending it is our Fight!
Proposals can relate to any topic for these audiences. This year, the committee is particularly interested in workshops on the following topics:
- Organizing
- Professional Development topics for the full range of ESPs in Pre-K12 and Higher Education
Presentation teams that include at least one MTA ESP Member will receive first consideration for workshop spaces.
When choosing workshops, the committee will choose from the strongest proposals that achieve an appropriate balance across grade levels and content areas.
