Call for Proposals
The Associated General Contractors of Missouri (AGCMO) is thrilled to announce our very first Missouri Safety Conference, a one-day event dedicated to advancing safety leadership, innovation, and collaboration in the construction industry. This conference will bring together professionals from across the safety community to explore the latest trends, strategies, and technologies shaping the future of safety.
We invite you to submit a proposal to present at this inaugural event. This is a unique opportunity to share your expertise, insights, and practical solutions with a diverse audience of safety professionals, contractors, industry leaders, and innovators.
The conference will feature:
- Plenary Keynotes – Inspiring sessions led by top industry voices addressing big-picture safety challenges and opportunities.
- Breakout Sessions – Interactive panels, workshops, and case studies exploring practical tools, best practices, and hands-on solutions.
- Expo Hall & Networking – Live demonstrations of safety technologies, products, and services, plus opportunities to connect with peers and clients.
Our goal is to attract 250+ professionals from across the safety industry, creating an unparalleled environment for learning, networking, and collaboration.
The general categories below will guide our call for proposals and session content:
- Policy & Procedure/Compliance
- Updates on OSHA, MSHA, or state-level regulations
- Case studies in successful compliance management
- Navigating legal and liability issues in workplace safety
- Integrating compliance with company culture to drive long-term change
- Safety Innovation and Emerging Technologies
- Wearable technology, sensors, and AI-powered safety monitoring
- Drones, robotics, and automation for inspections and risk reduction
- Data-driven approaches to predictive safety and hazard prevention
- Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) in safety training
- Leadership and Workforce Development
- Building safety-focused leadership at every level of an organization
- Workforce training models for multiple generations and learning styles
- Strategies for engaging diverse and multilingual workforces
- Cultivating a culture of accountability, trust, and proactive safety engagement
- Workshops
- Hands-on training with safety technologies and tools
- Scenario-based workshops (e.g., emergency response drills, hazard identification)
- Safety leadership simulations for supervisors and managers
- Problem-solving roundtables to address real-world challenges
Proposal Criteria
- Successful proposals will be industry educational in nature and target a 45-minute session with 15 minutes of Q&A (60 min max).
- Session formats shall include Panel Discussion, Case Study Presentation, Round Table Discussion, Lecture or Hands-on Workshops.
- All sessions shall be delivered live and in-person onsite.
Submission Period
- The Call for Proposals will run from October 20, 2025 - October 31, 2025.
- Selected proposals will be notified in December 2025 to prepare for conference logistics.
- Final presentation materials will be submitted for AIA CEUs (or other learning units) no later than April 1st, 2026.
