2026 Early Career Educators Conference
Massachusetts Teachers Association
The MTA's New Member Committee invites you to share your expertise with educators from across Massachusetts at the annual Early Career Educators Conference, which will be held on Saturday, February 28, at a location TBD in or near Worcester.
We are accepting proposals for 90-minute workshops that support aspiring educators and educators in their first five years of practice in schools, colleges, and universities.
The Committee accepts workshops in all content areas and for all early career educators, PreK-16, but is particularly interested in workshops on:
- Union organizing skills and workplace rights for new educators.
- Developing social justice pedagogy and practice at all levels.
- Navigating the challenges of working in education, including employment precarity for adjunct professors and lacking professional status in PreK-12.
When choosing workshops, the committee will choose from the strongest proposals that achieve an appropriate balance across levels and content areas.
Are you interested in other presenting opportunities with the MTA? Add your information to Training & Professional Learning's Facilitator Database. Upcoming Requests for Proposals will include the Education Support Professionals Conference and MTA Summer Conference.
