Call for Presentations: 2025 NASW-NC Virtual Fall Conference
NASW-NC
NASW North Carolina invites you to submit a proposal to present at our annual Fall Conference!!!
About the Fall Conference
The NASW-NC Fall Conference is an annual meeting for the entire profession! Everyone from the social work student to the LCSW in private practice can benefit from the presentation offerings. The conference will be virtual and held on November 17-18, 2025.
NASW-NC is requesting relevant and timely presentations for a social work audience of up to 900 attendees virtually. We are seeking proposals for 1.5 hour presentations. ALL topics and submissions are welcome and will be considered.
Who Can Present?
Our presenters play a vital role in the conference, sharing information and expertise across a wide variety of topics. NASW members and non-members are invited to submit a presentation. Presenters can submit for 1.5-hour sessions. Keynote submissions considerations are for 2 hours. Please note that there is a limit of 3 proposal submissions per presenter. As our conferences are fully virtual, speakers should be very comfortable with presenting in a virtual format. Since the event will be held via Zoom Webinar, speakers should understand that their workshop will be "lecture style" and will not have the options for video from participants or breakout rooms. Engagement can occur via chat, Q&A, and polling questions if desired.
Why Should You Present?
- Presenters can share their expertise with a large number of social work professionals in North Carolina and beyond. Our Fall Conference has had up to 1,000 registrants!
- Presenters have promotion of their name and credentials in our conference brochure, which is listed on the website and sent in emails marketing the conference, as well as some social media spotlights of sessions.
- Presenters gain free attendance to the conference as well as an honorarium.
- Since the conference is virtual, presenters can provide quality education from wherever they are located!
What About Presentation Topics?
All topics are welcome and will be considered!
The deadline to submit a presentation is August 1, 2025. After the deadline, submissions will be reviewed and final selections will be made by our Continuing Education Committee.
