The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) is currently seeking poster abstracts on the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes, to be presented during the 2024 EERI Annual Meeting from April 9-12, 2024 in Seattle, Washington. The two-day technical program on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11 will feature five plenary sessions (including the EERI Awards Ceremony), 16 special sessions, 2 poster sessions, and a special programming track on the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes organized in partnership with NEHRP. The deadline for all submissions is Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. All abstract submissions are limited to 300 words or less. Submissions will be reviewed and considered by the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes Anniversary Special Sessions Committee. Those with selected poster abstracts will be notified in early March 2024. Selected poster presenters will be asked to prepare a 24” x 36” poster (portrait or landscape orientation) and present during the poster session(s) at the 2024AM on April 10 or 11. NO conference papers will be accepted or required. With permission, presentation materials will be posted on the 2024AM website, Learning From Earthquakes website, and in EERI's Digital Library, but no formal proceedings will be produced.
