Has your company (or do you know a company) that has employed an innovative payment or risk system worthy of praise and adulation? Is your company a beacon of light and hope when it comes to implementing practices that thwart fraudulent behavior and lowering your own risk as a merchant?  Share your success stories with MRC and you may be eligible to win the coveted Merchant Spotlight Award for your efforts. Examples of merchant innovations that exemplify the MRC’s vision of making electronic commerce more efficient safe and profitable include:

• Improved or innovative fraud and risk systems implemented in a cross-functional environment
• Payment acceptance success during global expansion
• Promotion of industry collaboration (could be with Law Enforcement)
• Innovative use of technology or systems
• Impact on bottom line due to fraud prevention or increased revenue through accepting more transactions

Merchant Spotlight Awards will be presented to online/multi-channel merchants whose creative payments or risk innovations and improved systems have contributed to the commercial and operational success of their own company and which may be replicated in other companies for the betterment of the e-Commerce industry.
