Social Emotional Learning

Abstract

Teaching social emotional skills is not something counselors do in their spare time, it is a necessary part of the RTI process.  Students respond better when you have created relationships, make learning fun, and make them active participants in the counseling process.  Using play scenerios and games facilitates the process of emotional education; from the beginning when you first meet the student to the end, when you are concluding your sessions. Come learn new ideas.
