With recent media attention on gay marriage and other LGBT issues, these topics are likely to come up in the classroom. Given the cultural diversity of both students and instructors, how can we respectfully handle these discussions? Through case studies, participants explore ways to facilitate the discourse surrounding LGBT issues.
