Session Description

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma provides Continuing Education Certificate Programs through the Choctaw University Department. These certificate programs are designed to develop the Choctaw Nation associates professionally and personally. Each of these certificate programs are geared towards specific skillsets to meet the needs of the associates. Currently, there are four certificate programs available: Administrative Professional, Professional Development, Choctaw Culture, and Introduction to Business.

Shawn DeNell Young, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma
Brief Bio

Shawn Young is a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Shawn is a Choctaw University Instructor. She serves as the lead advisor for the Continuing Education Series. She has been employed with the Choctaw Nation since 2003. Shawn has an Associate Degree in Music and will complete her Bachelors in Communications with an emphasis in Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, in Spring 2016.
