Session Description

What happens when a kindergym and a family story time collide? 3 Emergent Literacy portfolio librarians set out to find out! Considering in-branch behaviors and customer-centered needs, GVPL librarians designed a prototype pilot project enhancing storytimes with play. We recount the successes, failures, and user-centered motivations for moving towards play-friendly early literacy programming.
