Design & Construction Technology Conference October 25, 2018

Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Missouri

The AGC of Missouri is accepting proposals for lecture and lab sessions for its 8th Annual Design & Construction Technology Conference to be held in partnership with St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers (SLCCC) on October 25, 2018 at the Saint Louis Science Center.

The Design & Construction Technology Conference audience includes construction consumers, architects, designers, engineers, construction managers, general contractors, specialty contractors, and service providers with positions represented ranging from daily operations personnel through senior executives.  Information Technology professionals from support technician through CIO will benefit from these educational and networking opportunities.

Proposal topics and areas of focus

All proposals should focus on current and emerging technology issues related to the construction project life cycle.  Successful proposals will be exclusively educational in nature, case studies preferred, 45 minutes in length with 15 minutes of Q&A. The preferred framework is to describe an issue faced by a project team or company, identify potential solutions to the issue, present the applied solution, and discuss the success and challenges of the applied solution. All selected presentations will be submitted for AIA (American Institute of Architects) credit.

Proposals will be organized into tracks based on the following areas of focus.  Up to four presentations per scheduled session time frame. Some topic suggestions from last year’s conference attendees:
