Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will be able to understand the kind of information that is often tied to the electronic resources librarian's position, identify problems associated with losing this information, and reduce the loss of this information through the use of checklists, computer-based tools and software.

Abstract

When an electronic resources librarian resigns, information about the library's electronic resources may be lost when that individual's email account is closed, even when an ERM is in use.  Libraries can reduce this information loss by following certain practices and using computer-based tools.
